Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Departing on this 3 day desert trip from Marrakech to Fes, you cross the Tizi n'Tichka High Atlas Mountains pass to the village of Ait Benhaddou for a guided tour of the kasbah. It is listed under UNESCO World Heritage, a spectacular fortified village (ksar). Day 02

Todra Gorge is a canyon in the eastern High Atlas Mountains, well known for rock climbing in Morocco. From there, continue to the edge of the dunes at Merzouga, where you'll ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes on a camel trek with a camel guide, and sleep in a nomadic tent at the desert camp. Enjoy an overnight stay under the stars, with real desert atmosphere and music.

Drop-off at your accommodation, riad or hotel, in Fes, founded by Moulay Idriss I in 789 and a World Heritage Site.
