We depart Marrakech in the morning, driving west through Argan tree groves toward the coast, with a stop at a women's Argan oil cooperative to see the traditional pressing process and browse Argan oil products. On arrival in Essaouira, we take a guided walk through the Skala Fortress, its cannon-lined sea ramparts overlooking the Atlantic, before continuing into the medina — a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its blue-and-white buildings, thuya wood workshops, and art galleries. You'll have free time to browse the souks, watch the fishing boats unload their catch at the harbor, and choose a spot for a seafood lunch at your own pace. In the late afternoon, we make the return drive to Marrakech.
