We leave Marrakech in the morning, following the Ourika river road south into the High Atlas foothills, passing Berber villages, terraced fields, and roadside stalls selling local produce. On arrival in Setti Fatma, at the head of the valley, we set off on foot toward the waterfalls — a short scramble over rocks and streams to reach the lower falls, with the option to continue higher for those who want more of a walk. There's free time to explore the village and its riverside terraces before lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the river. In the afternoon, we make the return drive to Marrakech.
